Coach Line Bratislava – Vienna and airports
This coach line connecting the two capital cities as well as the two airports of the neighbouring countries is a popular route with a long tradition, adapted, however, to meet the needs of modern times. The coach line includes nineteen daily services in both directions. It is rather easy for you to choose your coach to fit in with your time requirements.
If you will be travelling by the coach from Bratislava in the morning, just for you we have arranged the current newspapers PRAVDA, SME and Hospodárske Noviny, which you will receive free of charge from the driver.
Tickets are available:
• on our website,
• at our ticket offices at the Bus Station of Mlynské Nivy,
• at our reservations centre at the Vienna Airport arrival hall,
• at our reservations centre at Südtirolerplatz in Vienna,
• at our sales agents close to your place,
• or even with our coach drivers.
On the Bratislava – Vienna coach line you can also purchase a booklet of tickets for 10 coach trips for only 60 €. You can get it exclusively from the ticket counter in the Mlynské Nivy coach station in Bratislava. It is issued in the name of the passenger and is non-transferable. It is valid for one year from the date of issue.
Definitely you must use this coach line – just read all necessary information and become familiar with your benefits.
If your flight departs from Vienna Schwechat, our service from Bratislava to the airport takes you directly in front of the departure hall. If your flight arrives in Vienna Schwechat, our coach stops directly in front of the arrival hall.
If you buy an OPEN return ticket, please, do not forget to book your return travel for a particular date and time at one of our sales or reservations points as soon as you know the date of your return. Thus you make sure that you have a seat guaranteed in one of our coaches.

Upon arrival at Vienna Schwechat Airport you can book your OPEN return ticket for any of our services in the office of Vienna Airport Lines Postbus which is situated in the arrival hall (turn slightly left, then go down the hallway to the right, towards the bus/coach platforms).

If your flight is delayed, please, note that your booked ticket is valid for any other of our services on the same day (so long as there are any free seats left on board).
You can take two pieces of luggage for a basic fee of 1 EUR, and if there is a free place on the bus you can take your third piece of luggage for a fee of 2 EUR with you. Transporting a suitcase up to 20x30x50 cm is free of charge. Extra fees are payable for any other luggage. The luggage fee is payable either in advance along with your ticket or to the driver prior to departure.
If you are going to Bratislava-Petržalka, please, inform your driver about this fact in advance while your luggage is being loaded. Then your luggage will be placed in the luggage compartment so that it can be unloaded quickly at the Bratislava-Petržalka coach stop. The reason is that this particular coach stop does not allow longer waiting due to its construction and the frequency of the traffic.
