The Bratislava Airport, also called Milan Rastislav Štefánik Airport, is located only 20 minutes from Bratislava city centre. The largest airport in Slovakia offers many shopping options, restaurants and cafes that you can enjoy before your departure. How to get to Bratislava Airport?

Bratislava Airport is only an hour away from Vienna Airport. With its catchment area of 4 states (Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) it occurs as a great option for citizens from these countries. There is a direct bus connection several times a day between Vienna Central Station – Schwechat – Bratislava Bus Station and Bratislava Airport. The journey from Vienna Airport to Bratislava Airport takes about 75 minutes. You can easily get to Bratislava from Prague or Budapest as well and take advantage of cheap flights from there.

From the city centre it takes only about 20 minutes by public transport to get to the airport. Bus number 61 runs four times per hour from the main railway station. A bus ticket costs €1.20 and is valid for 60 minutes.

Bratislava Airport offers two parking spaces: Short-term parking (P1) and long-term parking (P2), where you can park safely and cheaply. Parking spaces are open 24/7.

Only a few metres from the terminals there is car park P1, which is ideal for picking up passengers.
