About the destination
The most beautiful ZOO: Founded by count Josef Seilern in 1930, it opened for public in 1948. You can find 200 animal species here including Kiwis, African Elephants and Rhinos.
Close contact with animals: Fences for kangaroos, vultures or parrots are walk-ins. You can also visit the tropical Yucatan hall. If you're courageous enough, you can touch the stingrays and feed them with shrimps.
The biggest japanese garden: It's called Mu-Shin it will blow your mind with hundreds years old pine trees and stone lamps.
Lešná castle: The castle built in the historicist style, located directly on the grounds of the ZOO. During the 40-minute tour you'll visit 11 historically furnished rooms. You'll see the silver treasure, an Egyptian mummy or the bathroom with antique jacuzzi.
Zlín town: Located 10 kilometres from the ZOO, but definitely worth the trip. The biggest attraction is the architecture from the Baťa era which was one of the most modern during its time. Be careful though to return from the town in time to catch the bus back.
