Pula

Pula is a modern city with a rich history and many cultural monuments. It is the largest city in Istria, a beautiful city of culture with a tumultuous past.

If you prefer privacy, you will find a number of so-called "Wild beaches" overgrown with greenery. However, if you are looking for active recreation, play basketball, tennis, golf, enjoy diving or panoramic flights.

And for the culturally active, there is the Pula Arena - a real Roman amphitheater, where concerts of world music stars take place at all times.

Rovinj

Rovinj on the southwest coast of the Istrian peninsula is a historical treasure dating back to the beginning of our era. It is surrounded by 22 islands and islets with many new pebble beaches. The entire coast of the city is a protected heritage. Here you can see the diversity of the underwater world, flora and fauna.

The city is full of cultural and historical monuments and is surrounded by countless natural attractions, in which everyone will find something for themselves. And if you decide for sports, try water skiing, paragliding, sailing, rowing or diving.

For those who prefer solid ground under their feet, there is jogging, tennis, football, basketball, bocce (a game similar to pétanque), beach volleyball and more. For a little adrenaline, you can climb for free in various climbing areas.

Many festivities take place here throughout the summer. You will enjoy classical music concerts in the Franciscan Monastery, fireworks and live music at the Rovinj Festival. Just one kilometer from the town of Rovinj is MONVI - the largest entertainment center in Croatia. And you haven't seen the atmosphere Rovinj can conjure up in its streets after sunset.

Rijeka

Rijeka is a port city, but nevertheless it has retained its relaxed charm and its industrialism does not suppress the animal character of the metropolis of the whole region. It is rich in historical monuments that prove the rich past of the city. You will find many palaces, museums, galleries, churches, towers and other historical landmarks.

However, do not forget to thoroughly examine the surroundings of Rijeka. Be sure not to miss the nearby Risnjak and Učka National Parks, the towns of Opatija and Crikvenica with their rich events and if you prefer beaches, you will find more than enough of them here.

Visit for example the picturesque Bivio or the great Pecina with many small beaches. Those who like to have fun until dawn can listen to live music in several small cafés, or try their luck at the casino on the main promenade, which is open all night.
