Slovak Lines, a.s. respects the privacy of all data subjects with whom we are in contact, regardless of whether we process personal data ourselves or through other parties. It is important for us that everyone understands which personal data about you we process, why we do it and what your rights are. This Privacy Policy determines how we process your personal data when performing activities in the capacity of a controller or processor.
We may update this statement from time to time, even without notice. Therefore, we ask you to regularly review its wording. This version of the statement was issued on 16.12.2024.
We may process personal data about you in various ways and in different situations, depending on whether you are a client, customer, supplier or job applicant or employee. We may also process personal data about visitors to our website(s), depending on how you choose to communicate with us. Regardless of the situation, we promise that we will never sell, commercialise or use your personal data in violation of applicable data protection regulations.

At Slovak Lines Express, a. s. we respect the privacy of all data subjects with whom we are in contact, regardless of whether we process personal data ourselves or through other entities. It is important for us that you know which personal data about you we process, why we do it and what your rights are. Therefore, we ask you to read this statement, which will provide you with more information about the processing of your personal data.

Location of your personal data
Your personal data will be accessible to authorised employees of Slovak Lines Express, a. s., in the Slovak Republic within the European Union and the European Economic Area. Personal data are not processed outside the EU.

How can I complain about the use of my data or exercise my rights?
If you wish to lodge a complaint about how we process your personal data, including in relation to the above rights, you may contact our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) and your complaints and requests will be examined.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or if you believe that we process your data unfairly or unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ). Request for Data Deletion:
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data that we process. If you wish for us to remove your personal data, you can do so in the following ways:
- Contact Email: Send us an email at dpo@slovaklines.sk, stating your request for data deletion along with your first name, last name, and, if possible, account information so that we can correctly identify you.
- Response to Your Request: Upon receiving your request, we will contact you within 30 days to inform you about the status of your request and whether we can remove your data from our systems.
- Consequences of Deletion: Please note that if you choose to request the deletion of your data, it may affect your access to certain features of our services.
