From 11 to 15 August 2026, Óbudai-sziget in Budapest will turn into the legendary Island of Freedom, where thousands of people from all over Europe come for music, art, circus, theatre, and culture. This summer, the island will welcome names such as Bring Me the Horizon, Florence + The Machine, Jorja Smith, Peggy Gou, Lewis Capaldi, Twenty One Pilots, Skepta, Chet Faker, and many more still to be announced.
Whether you are coming for the headliners, night-time dancing, the festival atmosphere, or the feeling of being part of something big, Sziget is an experience that stays with you long after the final concert. From Bratislava, you can get there comfortably by bus in just a few hours.

During the festival, we will take you directly to Óbudai-sziget in Budapest, to a dedicated location that serves as both the drop-off and pick-up point. Our Bus Point. This way, you know exactly where you will arrive and where to return when it is time to head back home.
Forget unnecessary transfers, public transport in Budapest, or long waits for a train without a guaranteed seat. Our bus will take you from Bratislava’s Nivy Bus Station directly to the Island of Freedom. You get off and you are right there. Our Bus Point is located directly on the island.

Start your journey even more comfortably. Add our Parking product to your ticket. Arrive at Nivy in your own car and keep it conveniently parked throughout the festival directly at Nivy, in a covered and monitored underground garage. When you return, it will be waiting for you exactly where you left it.
Budapest will be full of people from all over Europe during Sziget, and transport may become a challenge. If you already have your festival ticket, book your transport as well. A comfortable seat on an air-conditioned bus is exactly what your festival plan needs.

Come to the platform listed on your ticket, board the bus, and leave the transport to us. We will take care of the journey while you start enjoying the festival. You can even begin on the bus — for example, with the official festival playlist.
The easiest way to buy your travel ticket is online — on our website or in the Slovak Lines app. You can also buy it at the ticket office at Nivy Bus Station. Tickets cannot be purchased from the driver shortly before departure. The price does not include the festival ticket itself or travel insurance — only transport.
For your journey, please board only the bus whose number or name is stated on your travel ticket, or follow the instructions of the driver or authorised staff. If there is any change, we will inform you by e-mail. The bus to the festival departs at the time published on your travel ticket and will take you as close as possible to the venue — in the case of Sziget, this is our Bus Point. We will take you back at the time stated on your ticket. If you miss the bus departure, you are not entitled to a refund or a partial refund.

You can easily cancel your ticket on the Slovak Lines website or in the app under the conditions below. The ticket price will be refunded to you in the form of a voucher valid for 180 days. If you cancel your ticket 8 or more days before departure, the cancellation fee is 0% of the ticket price, meaning we will refund the full price of the travel ticket. From 7 to 4 days before transport, the cancellation fee is 50% of the ticket price. From 3 days or less before transport, the cancellation fee is 100% of the ticket price, meaning no refund will be provided. If transport is cancelled by us before the journey takes place — for example, due to not reaching the minimum capacity or if the event is cancelled by the organiser — your fare will be refunded in full, without a cancellation fee, using the same payment method you used to purchase the ticket.
Smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, and using addictive substances are prohibited during transport. If you damage or soil the bus, you will be charged the cost of repair or cleaning if the damage or soiling was caused by you.
